In July 1993, the world welcomed BONY Frederic but well known by his artist name Youguey. Originated from Ivory coast, west Africa, Youguey is a 24 years old rapper, student and song writer who, at the very young age, had to deal with hardship and loneliness growing up with a single mother. Seeing his world falling appart with no father to turn to, Youguey started to express his feelings and emotions through writing. One thing after the other, his stories became more and more relatable to many of his friends.

Youguey is a new force in hip hop and storytelling. After rocking different stages in different cities like Abidjan, Accra, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Hualien, youguey has recorded music in both languages french and English.
